Carmi Times Mon Feb 08, 2010 Carmi, Ill. - Lucille Ernestine Given, 95, a lifelong resident of White County, passed away at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010 at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. She was born Nov. 29, 1914 near Centerville in White County, the daughter of Chauncey and Lucy C. (Faulkner) Staley. She married E.G. "Mose" Given in 1934, and he preceded her in death. Surviving are a son, Roger A. Given; three grandsons, John R. and Nancy Given, Dr. James and Sherry Given, and David and Linda Given; and four great-grandchildren, Sean, Neal, Adam and Rachel Given. Graveside funeral services and burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 13 at White County Memorial Garden near Carmi, the Rev. Dr. Harrison L. Peyton officiating. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
