Carmi Times Fri Feb 26, 2010 Floyds Knob, Ind. - Reva M. (Joseph) Kruer, 84, Floyds Knob, Ind. and formerly of Norris City, died peacefully Jan. 31, 2010 in Fairfield, Texas, with her children by her side. The daughter of the late Cecil and Coleta (Holland) Joseph, Reva was born April 6, 1925 in Norris City. She was the widow of Marvin L. Kruer. Reva was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II, and was a member of VFW Hobart Beach Post 3281 in New Albany, Ind. She was retired from Container Corp. in Jeffersonville, Ind., and was a member of St. Mary of the Knobs Catholic Church, Kentuckiana Hearing Loss Association and a volunteer at Floyd Memorial Hospital in New Albany. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Stacie A. and Donald Boyd of Fairfield, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen L. and Vicki Kruer of Floyds Knob, Ind.; grandchildren, Traci Kruer, Amy Kruer Scorsolini (Scott), Jon Barnett, Elton Boyd and Kenneth Boyd; and five great-grandchildren, Derek and Drew Scorsolini, Bethany Barnett, and Nevan and Murphy Boyd. Burial was in St. Mary's of the Knobs Church Cemetery.
