Hi all - If you have a query for the initial issue of the White County Illinois Roots & Branches (the Genealogy Society of White County Illinois newsletter), the deadline is January 13, 2003. Please be sure to include both your snail-mail & email addresses, so even non-netters can reply to you. You don't have to be amember to place a (free) query in the Newsletter. Queries can be sent to: genealogy_society@midwest.net or to my own email below--both end up in the same place! Or to Genealogy Society of White County IL, P.O. Box 142, Carmi, IL 62821-0142. Our first meeting of 2003 will be Jan. 14, though we don't yet know where it will be held, and will probably be spent mostly on working out the Newsletter logistics (as will most of our meetings!). Meanwhile, keep those memberships and charts rolling in ... from the response so far, we may be printing a book of those charts sooner than expected!
