A search of the "Illinois statewide marriage index", online, shows the following: McDaniel, Austin md. Black, Susannah E. in White Co. on Apr. 21, 1853. There are lots of grooms named Pelham, but no record of one marrying your Susannah. The only Pelham marrying a woman of that first name, or variation, was in Wash. Co., in 1858.
