Ballard & Elizabeth Nally who were my 3rd gr grandparents. They had a son John Ballard who was born in 1828 and my records (unconfirmed) show he was married to Jemima Wheeler in 1849. I haven't done any genealogy for over a year but wanted to see if you had found out anything additional since your post. At least it looks like we both descend from John G. and Elizabeth (Nally) Ballard. Martha Adkisson
