Of particular interest are those marriages that occurred in the late 1800's. Especially, those children that would be direct descendants of Mary and Dan.I would especially like to know which children were from the Mary Spencer / Daniel Benjamin Hanks union. Marriages in WCI list: Albert N. Hanks that married Hattie Henshaw (this might be a misspelling for Kershaw) in 1897 Gerge W. Hanks married a Mrs. Shore Simpsoon, or Simpson Shore in 1898 Walter Hanks married a Rosa Sullivan in 1899 William Hanks married Abbie Gail (Abigail) Malone in 1898 Minnie F. Janks marries A. A. Atteberry / Attebury/ in 1899; she is a daughter to Mary and Daniel B. Hanks. Mary Ellis Hanks marries George T. Higginson in 1895 Laura Hanks marries William Riley in 1893 Ada L. Hanks Maried James M. Sexton in 1893 Ethel Hanks married William Franklin Hays. In Edwards County: Jasper G. Hanks Married a Lucy Henshaw (Kershaw is correct spelling) in 1888 James Hanks married a Susnah (Susanah),Odlesby (Oglesby) in 1897 Sarah Hanks marries Charles Francisc Bleakley in 1889 Any help whatsoever will be appreciated in discoving the parentage, the siblings and the descendants of these. I am attempting a Spencer - Kershaw famiy tree....and hoope that I might gather enough information to add the families of Mary Spencer and Daniel B. Hanks. Also, mary had at least two brothers tht married into the Hankses; Edwards and Joseph
