For what it's worth, my own father came to Eldorado in 1918 from Muhlenberg Co., Ky. and married my mother. Her father also had a farm south of Norris City. I'm guessing the railroad connections to Saline and White were pretty good to Muhlenberg through Evansville once the L&N was built.Don't know if the L&N came through Carmi but it likely did, along with some others. Anyone have an opinion on this? Ernie
