Hello List. Family story says that Mary Ann (RHODES) HUTCHCRAFT--b.ca 1825--wife of Harrison Sr. HUTCHCRAFT- was a midwife and delivered many, many babies in Hamilton, Franklin and White Counties. I would really like to see some evidence of this. When you are looking at birth records of your ancestors born in these counties in the years 1850 - 1860- 1870- 1880 , would you please check to see who was in attendance at the birth? Mary Ann HUTCHCRAFT was my g g grandmother and I would really appreciate seeing proof that she was a midwife. I don't know her death date, but think she passed away sometime after 1900.
