A Wilson Parker married a Sarah Nessler in Whie County, on January 7, 1841. There were at least five John Parker marriages in the county between 1849 and 1866. There were two John A.'s, one John E. and two others simply listed as John Parkers. There was no John L. Parker. One of the John's married Hulda Underwood on November 11, 1852 and the other John Parker married Elizabeth Hendrix on April 24, 1854. However, the marriage of a John Parker closest in date to that of Wilson was John A. (perhaps, the middle initiall was transposed incorrectly...that is not an uncommon mistake). His marriage was to Amanda S. Robenson (probably Robinson) on July 5, 1849. I found three listings for Parkers for White County in the Sales of Illinois Land in the Public Land Domain or Trust One was to Isaac Person Parker and another to Jacob Tucker Parker in 1836. J. T. Parker, who I assume to be Jacob Tucker or his junior purchased land in 1853. The are other Wilson Parkers with later marriage dates in other Illinois counties. And I suspect one of them is the Wilson you are searching for, as the dates of marriage would be more dompatibile with the birthdate you gave foro Wilson. It is possible that he may have moved from White County and had a second marriage. The other marriages occur in Pike, Madison and Piatt Counties of Illinois. Also, there was one John L. Parker marriage in Illiinois; hooweveer, it was in Coles Couny and took place in 1837. Good luck!
