Bruce 36 M Farmer Real Est=$800 Pers Est=$400 IL --Tabitha 34 F TN --Adam 10 M IL Attended school Nancy McCormick 8 F IL Attended school Benjamin F. Bruce and Tabitha Stephens married in White County, IL, on 10 August 1845. She was living with Benjamin in Gallatin County in the household of James Tarrant in 1850. In about 1850, Benjamin F. Bruce and Tabitha Stephens had a son and were living together in White County in 1860. If William Gray did indeed marry a woman named Tabitha Bruce, she was not the Tabitha Bruce who was the wife of Benjamin F. Bruce.
