    3. I was most interested in your message about John COOK and Sallie BAGBY. This family crosses with mine through the DeBOARD and McKENZIE lines. I haven't done much specific research on John COOK and Sallie BAGBY. In fact, what I had on them was this: John COOK, b ca 1825 + Sally C. BAYLEY on 1 Nov 1845 This info came from the online marriage records for Illinois, and I am thrilled to discover that Sally was actually a BAGBY - which makes complete sense. I had no parents listed for her, although I had William Anderson BAGBY in my database. William Anderson BAGBY had a son, William H. BAGBY who married Mary Frances McKENZIE on 10 June 1860. Mary Frances McKENZIE was the daughter of Alexander McKENZIE and Margaret VINEYARD. Her sister, Margaret Ann MCKENZIE, married Joel Franklin DeBOARD. They were my gr gr grandparents. I also have a Sally BLOODWORTH (b ca 1819 AL) who married John F. DeBOARD on 13 Oct 1836 White Co IL. I have no doubt that she must have been somehow related to your Catherine 'Caty' BLOODWORTH. I have a great deal of info on Hannah DeBOARD. Her parents were William DeBOARD and Lydia FORRESTER. The family is found in the 1810 Wilkes Co NC census. They left NC around 1816, and found in White Co IL for the 1820 census. It is possible that they moved directly to White Co IL, but I have found a William DeBARD in Sumner Co TN in 1816 tax lists. Many years later, another DeBOARD family moved from NC to White Co IL, and they spent two years in Sumner Co TN, so I believe it is possible that William DeBOARD's family made a stop there as well. I know that none of this directly addresses your John COOK and Sallie BAGBY family, but thought you might be interested.
