I am very interested in your Drakes. Noah Willis b.in White Co 1879, was reared by a Rosa Drake after his mother died. One of his daughters was named Rosa Pearl, or Pearline, supposedly for this woman. Noah md. Melvinia "Millie" Tucker in 1899 and moved to NE Arkansas . I have been unable to find a Rosa Drake in White Co but I think Noah's mother died in the 1880s, so if your dates are about right, your Rosa and her husband would not have been much older than he was. Have you ever heard of any connection between your Rosa Pearl and a Willis family? kportue@telocity.com wrote: I'm looking for a Harvey Drake born in Emma Township, IL, around 1871. He married Rosa Pearl Bowles (sp?) around 1895. It seems there are Drakes and Harveys, but I can't find a Harvey Drake. Family lore says he was killed by a train in Carmi in 1906. Rosa's descendants ended up in SE Missouri. Any help appreciated. --------------------------------- Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo! Finance - Get real-time stock quotes
