Does anyone on the list have a cemetery list for White or Wayne County? If so I would sure like a lookup for Thomas N Cullison. The date of death I have is March 1, 1927. I was told his death certificate might be in White County. His wife was buried in Edwards Co, IL and I was able to get a death certificate for her. Thank you, Geri Cullison Lilley

They were married in White County in 1859. Charity was married previously to Elisha Austin. I believe he died in 1858 in White County and is supposed to be buried there. They appeared in the Census in White County in 1850 with 2 children Sarah age 3 and Mary 6 months. According to the marriage index Charity and Elisha Austin were married in White County in 1846. It listed her name as Charity Mcbride Brown. In the 1860 census she was married to John J Ball I think he was listed as J J Ball and there were 2 Austin Children listed Catherine age 8 and William age 2 or 5 , it was hard to tell. The 2 older Austin Children were not there. John and Charity eventually migrated to Kansas and were in the 1870 census there. There were no Austin children at that time. Does anyone know where Elisha Austin is buried or whether there are any of those children buried in White county? Charity was my gg grandmother she had ! son with John J Ball that was my g grandfather. I have become fascinated with this woman and would love to find out more about her life. She was born in Tennesee and I have no idea who her parents were. I live in Kansas so I don't know when I will be able to visit White County to research. I hope to one day though. Thanks for any info any one can give. Karen Farrell
