The data supplied to me by others, which I have not yet documented , is that Mary Ann Savannah Hutchcraft was born in March of 1849 and died in April of 1898 and is buried in the Centerville Cemetery. Her husband Frank diend 19 Jun 1909 in New Burnsides IL and is buried in the Carmi Cemetery. Again I have not personally documented this data. <PRE>Hmmm, in my database I found a Bozarth from White co married to a Pool whose mother was a Marlin. All from Carmi/Enfield area.
For years I have found the research with you very rewarding and so now want to share something that just came to my attention. My Carmi Land family are connected to the Carmi Bozemans, and my g grandmother Caroline Bozeman-Hodge Land married Yearby Land there in the 1860's. I have pages of info on all of these folks but had not been able to locate where she died and when, and in this latest find there is much info about this and dates and places about the rest of the family. A book, hand typed, about 1932, is about the Samuel Bozeman and Ann Richardson family from the mid 1700's on down to the 1930's. There are copies of letters in response to queries, copies of wills, etc. and for anyone researching the Illinois Bozemans this is indeed a find. If I can look up anyone I will try and do so even though it is not indexed. But if anyone wants the 500 plus pages they can write to Charles Ingram at <cti@ellijay.com> and am sure he will send the download. This book was written by Lou Emma Price Riter (Mrs. George Riter) of Raleigh, NC, and some information also from the "Sketches of the Bozeman Family" by Rev. J W Bozeman of Meridian, MS. Marian Land Ferguson

He married Mary Ann Rhodes in 1836, She was a midwife in and around White Co. for many years. I do not know where she was buried, nor when she died. Thanks for any information. Evalyn
Evalyn: I know we have spoken before - you DO have a copy of The Hutchcraft's in America by Edna Welling? Otherwise I can send you a bunch of stuff from the book. ladybug@arends-sons.com ----- Original Message ----- From: "Evalyn Turner" <eturner@ccrtc.com> To: <ILWHITE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, November 03, 2002 5:38 PM Subject: [ILWHITE] Cemeteries around Carmi > > My g g grandfather Harrison HUTCHCRAFT SR. b.1815/1816 in KY/IL is said to > have died Nov. 6 1864 in Carmi. I am very grateful for this information. I used to visit my Aunt Minta Carter & Aleen & Waldorf Springer in Springerton. Hopefully I will get back there this summer to get some more information on the tombstones, etc. Thank you for replying. Dorcas Arvilla Jordan (McDowell/Carter) Cluck
