I believe that your Greely Fields is my Horace Greely Fields. Mine was born in Middlesboro, KY around 1892/94 to my great grandparents, Muncy and Francis (Poor) Fields. They moved around a lot so my grandmother, Belle (1896)was born in Tenn. and they later moved to Wise, VA. Hope we are talking about the same folks. I agree with you they are a hard bunch to keep up with. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. You can find most of their information at www.familysearch.org. I know where Albion cemetery is, just over the border in Hamilton County, west of Norris City, but it is unlikely there is an obit or death cert of anything else to nail down the family. There might be a family bible or marriage license, but before 1878 most marriage licenses did not list parents names. See if the LDS information fits in with what you know about the Justice family. I only have one connection, a Rebecca Justice who married John McClellan in the 1880s. She died in 1911 at the age of 93 or so and had been born in Gallia Co, Ohio. She has a stone at Old Sharon Cemetery between Enfield and Norris City. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I have dna linking me to two gentlemen from that area who descend from 1.) Jesse King who died around mid 1800's and 2.) Henry King who was the son of William King of Claremont, Surry Co. Va. I believe that line goes back to George King who was married to Ann Rodgers, then Thomas King who was married to a Collier, Then finally to Thomas King who was married to Lucy Bailey. Thia Family was in James River area by 1630 from documents we have found. Dr. Harry Gray Browne, M.D. passed away on August 28, 2009, in Sparks, Nev. Dr. Browne was born in Los Angeles, Calif., on Nov. 5, 1929. He attended high school at The Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Conn. He graduated from Yale University in 1950 and Cornell University Medical College in 1956. He then pursued 4 years of postgraduate training in pathology at New York Hospital. He served active military duty as director of the Department of Parasitology at the United States Naval Medical Research Unit #3 in Cairo, Egypt, where he conducted field research in the Nile Delta. In 1964, he and his family moved to Nashville, Tenn., where he was an assistant professor at Vanderbilt University Medical School. Dr. Browne co-founded International Clinical Laboratories, and Therapeutic Antibodies. In 1981 he moved to Diablo, Calif., and then to Reno, Nev., in 1988. In 1991, he began to share his business expertise as a director and then vice president of the Gray family partnerships, Gray Farms, Inc. and Locust Street Company, Inc. His integrity, leadership and wisdom have been greatly valued. Dr. Browne had a keen intellect, and continually challenged himself to learn and understand more about everything from medicine to theology. He was happiest when in a heated debate with someone with completely opposing views. At the end of the discussion, neither side would waiver, but a mutual respect and sometimes a long lasting friendship would ensue. He was a successful businessman, but valued human contact and the friendships he forged more than financial gain. He combined his love of travel and skill with languages to start businesses in Egypt and in Mexico. He was always an optimist, and looked at every obstacle he faced as an interesting intellectual problem to solve. A devout Catholic, Dr. Browne was thankful for the guidance his church offered him throughout his life. He will be missed by his family and all those who had the privilege of knowing him.
