Hi, Just wondering if anyone on the White county forum might be closely enough involved to know whether the Little Wabash Primitive Baptist Church grounds were given or deeded to the cemetery at or before the church building was torn down? If you can help, I would appreciate a reply to me, (privately if you prefer) at [email protected] Robert ____________________________________________________________ Small Business Tools Compete with the big boys. Follow closely: Louisa Gambell/Gamboll Hutchcraft b. October 1873. d/o (re: Hutchcraft's in America) James Harrison Hutchcraft 1853-1899 and Nancy Gambell/Gamboll Hutchcraft. HOWEVER: James and Nancy married 10-10-1878, White County 1880 Census James 26 and Nancy 20 were living in HCI with James' parents, Rodney & Polly Crisel Hutchcraft - NO children living with them. James Hutchcraft first married to Henrietta McKnight of White County, Illinois 10-23-1872, Louisa born 1873; so it would seem Henrietta is mother of Louisa. HOWEVER, Louisa carries middle name of Nancy Gambell/Gamboll Hutchcraft. so it would seem Nancy could be mother of Louisa. But where is Louisa in 1880 census? In the neighboring family of Rodney and Polly Crisel Hutchcraft, James and Nancy Hutchcraft is: George Crisel 43 and Sarah (Rich) Crisel 40, amongst their children include a Louisa, age 5 as a daughter, as well as a grand-daughter named Laura. Is this the elusive Louisa - granddaugher? And who might be her birth mother? And, who is Laura, the other granddaughter? - haven't worked on that one yet!
