Would anyone happen to have information on the Families of John White, who came from Kentucky and were early settlers in Wayne County? It looks like they may have been in Edwards County first, which makes sense since Wayne County was derived from Edwards Co. >From what I can tell there was a John White, who came with much of his family. Other branches that seemed to come from this John were a William White, b. abt 1772; a John White Jr., b. abt 1786 who was married to Frances; and a Joseph. There is also a Milton and a Chauncey White around in 1820, that may possibly be connected. According to the 1850 Census Descendents names include: Henry Cynthia Thomas B. Milton H. Mary Phelps John Jr. William Richard Joseph and so many more. If anyone knows more about this family, please let me know. I'm trying to connect a James White, b. abt 1832 into this family.
