When I first requested something from the lending library, I went to my local library armed with all locations holding the material I wanted. However, their listing was more extensive than mine. My assumption was that what I wanted would come either from Illinois (the location of the subject) or from Pennsylvania (the closest to my location in Virginia). Imagine my surprise when the film arrived from the University of Indiana in Terre Haute. So my advice is to go to your local library, tell them what you want, and let them do the requesting. My librarian now knows me quite well and is more than happy to simply enter the county I want. We go through the list together and choose whatever looks like something I can use. I'm allowed to have only three requests at a time, so I try to stagger them. It is interesting to me that so much of Illinois genealogy books and film are sent to me from various locations in Indiana. Jane
