Fellow list members; Word has been received of the death of MARY ARCHIBALD SCHWAGER DUNN, 1910-2002, formerly of Cisne, who died in St.Petersburg, Florida, on 9 September 2002.. Mrs. Dunn, an active genealogist and in the DAR, was the great granddaughter of Charles Archibald (1805-1858) and Celia Taylor Archibald (1808-1869) who homesteaded to Zif Township, Wayne county in 1838. They raised a large family, many of who remained near Cisne and were buried in the Cisne and Williams Cemeteries. When her mother, Celia Archibald Brooks retired from business in Cisne, they moved to Florida about 50 years ago where she was an Anaesthetist Nurse. Mrs. Dunn is also a direct descendant of Moses Johnson (1740-1840) of the 2d Virginia Regiment, whose monument stands on the Clay County Court House lawn in Louisville. He is buried in the Lost Cemetery at Louisville. Mrs. Dunn is survived by a son, Dr. Verne A. Schwager of Chicago. Burial took place in Cisne.
