    2. Hi, This is from the death notice for William Horace Stoddard: Horace Stoddard died Dec 11, 1905 at 11 p.m. He was 81 years, nine months. He was a widower at the time of his death. Says he was born in Ohio. He died in Orchard Township of Paralysis and was buried in Johnsonville on December 13, 1905. QUESTION: Can anyone please tell me what cemeteries are found in Johnsonville and if there are any resources listing people who are buried in these cemeteries? Horace was b. April 1824 in either Ohio or NY. He died 13 Dec 1905, Johnsonville, Wayne Co. IL. His wife was born Amy Marie Dunlap or Anna Marie Dunlap. The 1865 State Census: Brush Creek Twp. 1870 Census: Indian Prairie Twp. 1880 Census: Brush Creek Twp. Horace as he was called is listed in the "Business Directory, Wayne County, Illinois, 1881": STODDARD, H. W.: Blacksmith and Farm Implement repairs, Johnsonville, IL Children of William Horace Stoddard: Horace Warren Stoddard, b. ca 1846 Amy E. Stoddard, b. 1852/53 Alonzo K. Stoddard, b. ca 1856 Charles A. Stoddard, b. 7 Apr 1861 Mary L. Stoddard, b. 1865 Martha E. "Mattie" Stoddard, b. 28 Feb 1865 Ernest C. Stoddard, b. See the the following cemeteries in the Indian Prairie Township where Johnsonville is located: Wesley Chapel, Johnsonville, Jones Graves, Cates, Schell and Hale. http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilwayne/cem/bland-books.htm You will find there are "tabs" at the bottom of the page that you can click to see different sorts of the cemeteries and also the map with the numbers for each of the cemeteries. You will see the volume number of the book that Doris published on that cemetery or else you can look on our website to see if we have any information for these cemeteries.
