There was an article in the April 10th issue of the Wayne County Press that says the City of Fairfield will buy a former medical office and turn it over to the Wayne County Historical Society. The City is going to lease the building to the Society for $50 a year so that the Historical Society will have its own home. The building is "one of the older homes in Fairfield" and located on the corner of South First and Center Street. There is no indication of a date when the Historical Society will move trom its present location at the library, but I will try to keep the list updated with any developments. Diane Bunting Lehner
