Earlier this year I ordered some newspaper microfilms from the Ill. State Hist. Soc, and they can not tell you before ordering what is on the film. I got McHenry Co. newspapers, and they had 2 or 3 years on a film. The limit to order is 5, and I ordered what I thought was 5, but since they had more on the film, I only wound up with 3 films. There were other years I wanted, so must reorder. anyway, it was only about $5 for all 3 microfilms and they were wonderful. I took a trip back into time. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jeanne Delaney To: ILWAYNE-L@rootsweb.com Sent: Monday, November 01, 2004 6:49 PM Subject: [ILWAYNE-L] INTERLIBRARY LOAN OF WAYNE COUNTY NEWSPAPER MICROFILMS Since we can now again get Wayne County newspaper microfilms through interlibrary loan from the "Illinois State Historical Library" I went to look up what I want. I can only find the dates for the Wayne County newspaper and nothing to indicate what paper dates are on one microfilm together. Is this the way it's always been? I could have sworn before that at least it told you what dates were together on a microfilm. Or maybe I'm thinking of familysearch.org. Can anyone help? Jeanne
