He lived on the line of Edwards and Wayne Co. All of his relatives are in Wayne Co. scottj@xtalwind.net Gregory Rutherford Co NC to Allen/Simpson Co KY and Sumner Co TN abt 1810 to Wayne County in 1830's....allied family was WOOD Wood Union Co SC to Allen/Simpson Co KY and Sumner Co TN abt 1810 to Wayne County in 1830's...allied family was Gregory and Haney Mike Dobdie@aol.com BREWERs came to Wayne County from Clay County from TN of KY? George Washington Brewer b. 1850 in TN/ Nancy Brewer b. 1853 in TN/ parents I think were Ann (Nancy) Cates and John WIlliam Brewer. William married prior 1850 Wayne co. census to J.A. Smith, 1850 list wife only as J. A. Grant . Son George W. Grant stated on #2 marriage mother was JulY ? Smith. Also researching Mundy, who were out of Hamilton co. into Wayne co.Il. jeanb@wf.quik.com (Jean Bushnell) Breamfishn Dennis Johnson. OLD HOMESTEAD MAP of BRUSH CREEK TOWNSHIP which list the names of the persons owning each parcel of land. As to migration pattern, a large portion of the persons in this area either came from WASHINGTON COUNTY, IND. or SUMNER, SMITH and MACON Counties in TENNESSEE. These areas were their last HOME before arriving in IL.
