Candee I wonder if the Jane Davis mentioned is my gg grandmother, Martha Jane Davis b 31 May 1831 d 24 Jan 1908. She was the daughter of Samuel Flint and Rebeccah Hall. She was the wife of Squire Flint and they lived in Four Mile Twp, Wayne Co around Middleton. When I was back in IL two years ago with my mom's sister, she showed me where Squire and Martha Jane used to live. Samuel Flint's wife, Rebeccah Hall, was the daughter of John Hall Sr. and Mary "Polly" Broadway. I think this Jane Davis is the daughter of John and Rebecca Warfield and sister of my gggrandmother Rebecca Warfield Hall, wife of William Hall, m. 1842 HCI. I would love to know who the parents of William Hall are: I think they were in Sangamon County, Lomi township or Williams township.
