keylime@ionet.net (M & D Vincent) To add to the list, I am searching for the MELTON family of early Wayne County. Specifically, I am looking for information on the family of John Melton and his wife Susanna Brown Melton who were included in the 1820 census. I have a court record from Sumner County TN showing they still resided in Wayne County, IL in 1825. I believe the Leonard MELTON living in Wayne County in 1830 was probably a son. Any information would be much appreciated. Danene Vincent wirvine@wabash.net (William (Bill) Irvine) My name is Bill and you will find me on the Wayne county page as a lookup volunteer. I have most of the Wayne county books. I also have a data base of 54,000 names and I am always looking to trade files of Wayne county families. Because of the size of my database I usualy receive a GEDCOM and them work it into my files. I then report back any changes or additions that I find. I also log the name of the person that gave me the file and then later if someone is working on the same family I will contact them and let them know that someone is working on the same family. My long range plan for this is to be the Wayne County clearing house for all Wayne County Genealogist. I have already entered several books into my files. In this book there are several Hall's and a few Peer's mentioned. One Peer was Kitsy J. Peer who married Abraham P. Witter on June 19, 1858. The record is supposedly found in the Hamilton County courthouse in Marriage Book C. Has anyone checked this out and does this Kitsy belong to your Peer's?Dick Witters glpatter@galstar.com (Jan Patterson) I am trying to find information on my ggg grandmother, Nancy Jane Hansbrow/Hansbrough/Hansborough etc. b. 1845 . In the 1850 Wayne Co. Census shows her age 5, in 1860 in the S. Boyd family as 15 in the M. Boyd. family in the Ill state archives lists as has no family. Does this info ring any bells with anyone? Thanks, Jan
