In researching something, I xeroxed a portion of a page from the Wayne County newspaper from 1866 that had the following marriage information I assume that Mobile referes to Mobile, Alabama: MARRIED [From the Mobile Sunday Times] March 19th 1866, at the residence of the bride's father, by the Rev. Dr. Masey, JOHN W. SCHELL, of Fairfield, Illinois, to Miss MARY E. PRIEST, of this city.
