I also have both Genealogy.com and Ancestry. I like them both, but you MUST have a first name when searching on Genealogy.com, and I agree with the other Lister who said it is time consuming to sift thru the hits. I have spoken to Genealogy.com and asked that they consider adding a more concise search engine. They say they are working on it.....On Ancestry you can narrow down searches by area, date, etc. You can't really do that on Genealogy.com. I feel that I need both for complete searches.
