I have Margaret Stevens b. in Vinton County, Ohio and marrying William Carson b. abt 1820 Tipperary Ireland. This from the Death certificate of James Alfred Carson, father : William Carson born in Tipperary, Ireland. Margaret was the daughter of James Stevens, Jr. and Rebecca Webb of Maryland. Rebecca and James Stevens both died in Vinton County, OH. Margaret and William came to Wayne County around 1850-1853. Her brother, Alfred Stevens also came to Wayne County. Alfred married Belinda Drake in May 27, 1828 Hocking County, OH. Also her sister Rhoda Stevens who married Joseph Carson came to Wayne County, IL. I hope this helps. Candee Hoff
