Wayne County Researchers, Rod Simmons has a dilemma he needs help with. Can anyone go to the Cisne/Yarnall cemetery in Cisne and check and see if they can find Gilla & Isham T. Simmons gravestones?? I made a quick trip there last year but it was late in the day and I was unable to photograph the whole cemetery. This cemetery is very well maintained and right on the road. The cemetery is easy to find as it's on the west edge of town. Where Rt 45 makes a big right curve, you take the local road that kind of goes straight and you will see the cemetery shortly on the right side of the road. There's a nice big sign so you can't miss the cemetery. Here's a link to a map showing the location (note it's a really long URL): http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?ovi=1&zoom=7&mapdata=RwuiQHYj5qm0ryIUVDvB%2bdN4U3ctc4NZyZln%2bn5cmWCLFWlq23yrmDemLpf05tcYa1mba6ucSwTfDJCb%2fLIwaVb6ukv7WGU%2fuetxTH8rExpm%2fI%2bYeJmsNrzrue15xt7maAXV5PneZFDRL0irLRMeYTXK2L9x%2bCjoef7cPX%2fqsDt9HOySenCi7NAwZ3JdUvnXdwEltuEFhiBDANj9bCjaesUwQpwSgOPA7yuvud%2f9FesHkaBf11jqcyeKGbaaeWphJARnnMHzu0Kc3%2b%2f%2bXLylLC0aBQA%2fCcDsc1gFRNvaFpZAJgD8V%2fNoHEfydlDO1S3xRcyO3maR6PAn%2bkDU%2fyWvtuNWw50DGCsX1C69%2bf7IC8PSMzBIdMjlxx3jXIbYGqyGYK%2b6N7WHHcHe4BmYxwXUCQC5U14UCqaId%2bPjDttJdRjRw8FNdKqfDTAZBhCiqA0kVtQWxbmLKGiAmbyYE14KOnW17BCokkpL Sandy -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Question and/or suggestion Date: Sat, 25 Jun 2005 09:30:03 -0700 From: Rodney Simmons <actorrod@hotmail.com> To: sandyebauer@comcast.net Sandy; According to the buriel listings I've found, Gilla & Isham T. Simmons are buried in the Cisne Cemetery outside Cisne, IL. My problem is that three people have gone there to look for their grave markers and none were found. There does not appear to be anything resembling an office at the cemetery itself. Is there somebody in Cisne that has records and can give me a more precise location in the cemetery as to where their graves can be found? That information added to you cemetery listings might also be of use if added to the rest of the cemeteries as well. Thanks again for all your hard work on the web page! Rod Simmons
