I was doing family research at Gunion Cemetary in Wayne County and found the grave stone of John H.F. Pittman 1861-1926 and his wife Emma E. 1862-1942. I would not be surprised if they are descended from Martin Pittman 1791-1849(?) and Achsah Farmer 1819-1851(?) (my ancestors who moved to Wayne county before the civil war). Does anyone know anything about John and Emma? I also saw the grave of Bonnie Pittman Simons 1892-1935. She is also not from my known family tree. My Dad, age 87, has not heard of these people.
