Hello all; I have been seeing alot of people wanting to have a work session in the Wayne County area...I think that is a great idea not only for all genealogists but also for me to get an opportunity to meet some of you that I have been researching for...I live in Fairfield, Illinois which is where the courthouse is located...I would be happy to organize this get together as well as take people to local cemeteries in Wayne County as well...We all just need to set a date and go from there...I can get us a meeting place and will even see if Doris Bland would like to join in as I have really been getting to know her lately...Feel free to e-mail me directly or the rootsweb Wayne County site itself...Am looking forward to hearing from all of you... Michelle, I'm planning on being there Aug 31 - Sep 8 and would love to have you organize a work session. I do have one family reunion to go to on Sunday Sep 1 (Marlow family reunion in Bluford). If there are any Marlow family members on this list, let me know and I'll make sure and send you announcement about the family reunion since I'm secretary this year. I have a cousin I've never met coming down from northern Michigan for a couple of days over Labor Day and my mother's sister is coming from North Carolina and will be interested in joining in. My aunt can probably help provide info as well as she is in her late 70's (although I know she'd hate me to tell that).
