Cheryl Ann Hemingway researched in Wayne Co. for many years and the family surname that was POSEY family. Please take the time to say a quick prayer for her family and her. ILGen Web http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilwayne Yahoo Voice Chat id = d1anna46 AOL-IM id = dlwillie 1 ================= Cheryl's Obit ============ Cheryl Ann Hemingway, 46 MIDDLETOWN - Cheryl Ann Hemingway of Middletown died Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002, in the Christiana Hospital after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was 46. Mrs. Hemingway was born and raised in Rockford, Ill., daughter of Norman Dale Posey of Rockford, and the late Dorothy Posey in 1990. She was a self-employed consultant/director of "Close To My Heart," rubber stamp business and a Web site manager for Jo Davies County, Ill. for genealogical. She moved to Delaware seven years ago. Mrs. Hemingway was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Smyrna Ward and served as the music director. She volunteered and helped fund raise for the Townsend Elementary School playground and enjoy doing rubber stamping and genealogy research in her spare time. She is survived by her husband, V. Rulon Hemingway of Middletown; a son, Ransom S. Hemingway and a daughter, Eliana Marie Hemingway, both at home; five brothers and four sisters-in-law, Lee and Delores Guarra of Houston, Texas, Harry and Elvira Powell of Belevidere, Ill., Sam and Carol Powell of Monticello, Wis., Gary and Tricia Posey of Byron, Ill., and Steven Posey of Rockford, Ill.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Karen and Owen Howard and Gayle Posey, all of Rockford and many nieces and nephews. Services will be 7 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Clark Farm and Massey Church Road, Smyrna, where friends may call after 5 p.m. Burial will be in Ladies Union Cemetery, Stockton. Instead of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 92 Read's Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720. Arrangements by Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home, Middletown.
