The online abstract doesn't identify cities, towns or villages? I tried to cross-reference with the '65 census, but all I find is a W.H. RISTER in Big Mound, Twp. I'm so confused! I looked at the 1875 atlas township map, but am still going in circles, trying to find my scattered ancestral traces. It looks to me, like Fairfield straddles both Big Mound and Barn Hill Townships.
