I checked www.abe.com (which is a great book locator for out of print books) and it turns out that your author's name may be Ben Poore Perley, and not just Ben Poore. I checked the list of his books, and unfortunately that is not one on the list. I also note that he wrote articles for journals, so you may want to check out the site www.makingofamerica.com They have scanned old journals and books and made them available on line. Can you tell me what the book is about?
