Sarah King was born between 1765 - 1771 in North Carolina Died between 1823 - 1830. She married WIlliam Joseph Trotter Born 1760 in Scotland Died March 18, 1830 in Wayne County Illinois. They were married in Barren County, Kentucky. NOTES on William Trotter: TROTTER, William Joseph, was known to have been in Orange Co., North Carolina for the 1800 census, Hardin/Hart Co., Kentucky for the 1810 census, came to Wayne or Hamilton County areas with children approx. 1823. William is said to have frozen to death in a blizzard between 1830-1840 -=-Biography from Wayne County History-=- William trotter served in the War of 1812. He had two sons that served in the Black Hawk War and one son, Shirley, (also living in Wayne County) served both, the Mexican and Civil Wars. Sarah King was the daughter of Andrew King born abt 1740 in North Carolina & Mary Ann Means. That's all the info that I have found thus far.
