    3. My ancestors in the Trotter line were James Wahington Trotter and Polly Bratton McCormic Trotter. Their daughter, Martha Arbelle Trotter (m. Jefferson "Jeff" Davis Farris) was my grandmother. James Washington, according to the information I have, was born Apr. 26, 1830 in Bedford Township , Wayne Co., IL. I assume his fater was William Trotter. Maybe one of you could clarify this.
