Recently, I saw this posting on the Wayne Co. list: Hello Janis! I do have a couple of John Trotters but none that match up with your info. Looking at my file, the only Trotter I have in Wayne County is William Joseph Trotter B:1760 D:March 18,1830 in Wayne County. He was married to Sarah King and together they had 12 children: Charles Otis Susanna Elisha B James F George Mary Thomas Archibald (My ancestor) Isham Robert Shirley Jasper Rebecca William Does anyone have more information on Sarah King or on any Kings that were in Wayne Co. before 1840. I am a descendant of John King and Susannah Beach. I know that Enoch was Susannah's brother, but I hope to find some other Kings that are connected to John. John and Susannah were in White County in about 1818/1819. I think that there was a William in White Co. at about that time, but have been unable to learn more about him. Dorris [email protected]
