I am looking for any kind of help involving Toombs research in Wayne County from around 1810 to 1860 involving what I believe to be two William Toombs (sp Tombs, Toomes, Tumes) that were in the area. I know that there was a William Toombs in the area around 1817/1818. The other William Toombs married a Rebecca Gray in the late 1840's to early 1850's. Their farm was real close to the Thackrey Gray cemetery location of today and I am sure the Wayne/White County border may have changed over the years to confuse things even more. I am looking for any information or help on either William Toombs or Rebecca Gray. Thank you! David Toombs
