I find it touching that he named his son George W after his father. > My quest is to find out what happened to Sarah and the children after 1880, because somehow William C ends up over in Alexander County IL in 1912 marrying my grandmother Mary A Garneau/Gurnow. There was never mention of other children by him other than my father. There is also a confusing marriage record of another William C TAYLOR marrying a Minnie Quasebarthe(nothing on this name anywhere!) in 1890.
