    3. Freida I have not been paying very close attention to the Taylor emails until I saw your mention of the Davis connection. My ggg grandfather Henry Elijah Davis b 6 Mar 1810 Surry Co, NC married 27 Nov 1828 in Surry Co, NC to Susannah Taylor b 1811. Henry Elijah Davis died in Jefferson Co, IL bet 1861-1865. I believe Susannah's parents may be William Taylor b 1778 in VA d 23 Jan 1815 in VA in War of 1812 and Susannah Singleton b 1780 in VA died 18 Nov 1829 in Surry Co, NC. Does this Taylor/Davis line fit in with any information you have found? I'm going to Surry Co, NC over 4th of July and hope to find more information on both Davis and Taylor families there.
