I am posting this in case someone has relatives in any of these areas. Sue in Mo. There's millions of dollars in damage in Poplar Bluff alone, that's the word from county leaders this morning who are surveying the mess left behind by last night's tornadoes. Cars were thrown around up and down Hwy. 67 North and people were trapped in these cars. Hospitals are full of the injured. So far no fatalities. Missouri's governor and Federal Emergency Management Association inspectors are also planning trips to the area. And Bluff's not alone. In Ellsinore, homes, churches and businesses are destroyed. We're getting reports of as many as 30 RV's thrown into the river at Van Buren. In Marquand, the firehouse and city hall are demolished. Went right through downtown area. In all, tornadoes touched down in at least 8 Heartland communities. And as the day sheds light on the damage, devastation is clear.
