. On October 24, 1848 Silas Wilson purchased from Charles W and Susan Atteberry 40 acres of land in Wayne County, in fact at the Barnhill Road-Highway 45 intersection. I am trying to find out just who did Charles and Susan get the land from? Not being able to find the land records for this land purchase, I thought perhaps if I could contact the present owners of the land they may have the land records.
