    3. Wayne Co., IL Researchers I updated the main page to add more links for you all to use and got more to enter. The bounce email is updated. BTW, does anyone know if 'hotmail' is having mailing problems? It seems everyone that uses it has been getting their email bounced. I will not remove this until I hear from someone. Next, I added a 'contact Sandy' link. Sandy is the Coordinator for our Cemetery Project. If you have any cemetery stones and photos, send them to her. Last, a few people are asking about the 'on-line data' link. This link is where most of the data for Wayne Co., is stored now. The change is written in the very being paragraph, as: contain information in compliance with the ILGenWeb and USGenWeb by-laws. BOTH sites are under construction but BOTH are 'visitable'. Sorry for the mess.... Thanks! Dianna Wayne Co., IL Coordinator: http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilwayne host: http://www.iltrails.org/Wayne Yahoo Voice Chat id = d1anna46 AOL-IM id = dlwillie 1

    1. [ILWAYNE-L] Roll Call- McThompson/Corlee/Rose/Trotter
    2. The above -mentioned names are my line of "mysteries", at least as far as their forebearers are concerned. I have BF McThompson, Sr. b. 1833 in Allen County, Kentucky, m. Eda Rigers, but where are they buried? I have Joseph Corlee m. to Jane Thomason, where did they come from? I have conflicting information on their birthplace. Charlotte Rose was the first wife of BF McThompson, Sr. and mother of his first 3 children. Who was she? I do have a reference of a Charlotte Rose being divorced sometime before she m. BF, may not be the same women. !!? Any information would be appreciated. Darlene Hall, from the flatlands of Kansas.

    3. Everyone I've completed the change to the index for the cemeteries in Wayne County. Thanks to Rick, we now have a link to the USGS mapping service so you can find some of the cemeteries. Not all are mapped but many are. The list also shows how much work we have to do in documenting all the cemeteries in Wayne County. Lots of photos are needed to preserve the gravestones before they disintegrate!. Please take a look and let me know what you think. I could certainly use proof-readers to make sure I didn't make errors. http://www.rootsweb.com/~ilwayne/Cem/cemintro.htm Thanks to all of you that send info and photos. Let me know if I missed any.
