Hi Folks, just to wish all of you a wonderful New Year's Eve. I will be watching the New Year in here and attending my brother's wedding the following morning early. Guess it will be a busy time for me, hope all is well with all of you. I suppose that all of you know about the new threats to our systems. The only one that scars me is "Bubble Boy", so watch our for it, if you haven't all read heard about it. I intend to just turn off the computer, unplug the thing until a few days after. I will be so busy, I won't have time to get on anyway. My wish for all of Washing County, Illinois researchers - May all your skies be blue and when they are not; may you be covered so you won't get wet, holding on, so you won't get blown away or just warm when it is cold, cool when it is hot. May all your searches uncover at least one lead and may you find each person you set your heart and mind to find in 2000. May you complete all your goals, and most of all may you not put impossible demands on yourself. May Washington County get all those "Records" copied and put in proper places on proper paper and entrusted with proper people. May all it records become readily available to all people who wish to have a look. May the County be accommodating and friendly to those of us who chose to preserve History. May you find all the graves with readably inscriptions, all records easily legible and all attendants accommodating. May the net pick up more and more Historical Research information and may the States get in on the band wagon and make it available to us. May you be blessed with peace, happiness, health and safety throughout the year, both you and your families. May the Washington County Web Page grow and be blessed with a wealth of information.
