    3. Hi Marci, I have been using FTM version 6.0 for the last 6 months and find it really easy to use and the reports are really worthwhile. The kinship report especially good ... really helps when you are trying to explain to a not so interested party just where the 4x gt-aunts husband really stands in the picture. I tend to use that and the genealogical report a lot, not so much the others. I have several databases of different branches and it is easy to click in and out and backup on the way. The manual that comes with it, as manuals go, is pretty good whenever I have come unstuck I've found my solution. The only thing that frustrates me, and I must admit that I haven't looked for a way to turn it off, is the little yellow popup help boxes that flash up if you stay on a field without entering data. I bought the 15cd pack but I haven't looked at all the cd's yet but like Dot I don't find them very easy to use probably because i haven't taken the time to suss them out properly. When I do i will offer look-ups - so watch this space! As to bugs in the latest version - I am a cynical old computer programmer still programming after 20 + years. No software is bug free personally I wouldn't buy 'the only just released version" but a prior release and then an upgrade when the bugs have been ironed out!... I said I was cynical. Re the Nashville snippets from days gone by - keep 'em rolling! As far as I know my partners rellies didn't get to Nashville but you never know they just might have gone to visit little Miss Muffett! Well that's my lot. Love Margaret in warm and sunny Auckland, New Zealand where I am about to head off to the beach - eat your hearts out!
