Good morning, I have been told by a researcher in Franklin Co., IL that it was not uncommon for Franklin Co. residents to get married in Washington Co. My great grandparents lived near Sesser in Franklin Co. Their two older daughters were married between 1909 and 1912, but neither Franklin nor Jefferson Co. have these records. GenWeb page didn't mention a look-up person for marriages; and they said the Court House preferred research to be done in person.
