    3. Hello to all you listers who live in Illinois: I am planning a business trip to Westmont, IL where I'll be for some equipment training on March 18 and 19. I figure it's a fairly straight drive of about 200 miles from there, down rt. 51 to Ashley/Richview area, where I'd like to do some research. My MA(X)SON ancestors and their other offspring ended up, leaving my gg-grandmother here in western NY, as she had married a "local boy" back in 1842. I'm wondering if I should rent a car and drive down there for the 20th and 21st, when public records would mostly be accessible. I could come for the previous weekend, but thought records and such would not be as likely to be available, then. Any thoughts? Bucky took pictures in the Ashley I.O.O.F. cemetery for me, and others like Miles TenEyck's descendants have provided information, and others have sent census look-ups, for which I am thankful, but I have hoped to get out there and do research. I am not sure if it's a good time of year, and if anyone would be around that might be able to show me a few things. Would anyone be available then? Please let me know what you think, and THANK YOU!!
