Hi All, Does anyone claim the following marriage as belonging to their ancestors? > > Mathew G. ATCHISON to Lucretia BARCLAY in Washington County, IL. on 28 Dec 1837 recorded in Vol. A and p. 5 > I now believe that Mathew G. ATCHISON & Lucretia J. BARCLAY had 3 sons and 1 daughter. The daughter was Rebecca L. prob. born in 1849 (my great-grandmother). The 3 sons were: John S., Geo. Riley, and Robert H. I believe that John & Robert went to Collin Co., TX. and had families. I think that George Riley died in his 20's. I think that Robert was born in 1861, and that Lucretia died shortly thereafter. Mathew G. died in Nov. 1865, thereafter his sons had guardians. > Kay Chestnut in Oregon
