Civil War cards are online:::: Go to www.ancestry.com you don't have to be a member!!! click on recent data bases click on Civil War Pension Index type in name and then when the results come up you click on view search results.... all the search results will come up....click on the one that you want.....and then a scan copy of the card will come up to save it to print later you have to click on "No plug in" at the bottom and then right click on the image........save it to your desktop ...open it later...... :-)
