Tammy, I thought the redneck census was funny, but I've been so busy I haven't been able to read the list lately (I'm saving them for the end of the semester, when I can work on such things). Did you get some private nasty-grams about the census? Please, don't be afraid to inject humor. We're adults here, I think, and should be able to handle it. Those who can't, are the ones who should leave the list, not you. I know what it's like to post a message and be taken totally wrong, and catch flak from listers. I've put my foot in it more than once, which is not to say that you did anything wrong, but just that printed text can be much more easily misunderstood than spoken conversation.
